If the game seems to be too fast, hit pause (or press p) and set the frame rate to high. if you are fishing, try to enter water and be surrended by it, because if it disconnectes, your character may not face water, therefore the 'f' may be useless for the bot. try battling trainers while you wait for the E4 to refresh to grind Exp in the most efficient way and if an altar is active while you are waiting/grinding other trainers go and battle these trainers instead. The fishing rod you are using determines the level of Pokémon that you can catch.
Re-battling trainers give high amounts of Exp so be sure every day to re-battle trainers, these trainers listed below (apart from E4 trainers) give high amounts of exp and have a 24h cooldown so I would suggest waiting for a double Exp altar for them.
